Patient Registration Dashboard
Angular and Express record management application
A full-stack dashboard built as freelance work for an organisation, for managing patient records — search, filtering, pagination and summary statistics over an Express and MongoDB API, with an Angular front end.
Architecture
Architecture illustration of the patient registration dashboard: an Angular front end calls an Express REST API, which reads and writes patient records in MongoDB through Mongoose and returns aggregated dashboard statistics.

- Strict mode
Problem
Staff managing patient records need to find a specific record quickly and see the state of the whole set at a glance, which a flat list does not provide.
What I built
- An Express REST API in strict-mode TypeScript, backed by MongoDB through Mongoose.
- An Angular front end using standalone components and signals, with PrimeNG for the interface layer.
- Record viewing, searching, filtering and creation, with pagination over the record set.
- Dashboard summary statistics and status charts over patient records.
- Explicit loading and error states rather than silent failures.
- A database seeding script so the application starts with usable sample data.
Outcome
Delivered as a working full-stack application for the organisation.
